You can’t see it, but Migi’s got me pinned at the waist…

I’m a 28-year old full time jewelry artist working on a jewelry portfolio/skills while working at the best casting shop in the world. This space is for my general life exploits, focusing specifically on jewelry projects with some recipes thrown in every once in a while. {I have a new pound cake recipe to post soon.} I’m a passionate sartorialist who stalks the local thrift shops and occasionally a sale rack at Anthro, but only occasionally these days. The Allsaints end of sale rack? Always/Forever/Still.

I love to bake and to cook, but more often than not I find myself eating Mini Wheats, so the recipes have been few and far between, something I’m working on…

This is my first blog, and I’m hoping to work my way into a well-loved community of artists and bakers locally and on the web. If you like my designs, or live in Seattle and want to chat about art/life/fabrication over coffee, I’d love to hear from you!

About me as a baker: I’m a total food geek, a self-confessed sugar junkie, and an organic-obsessive compulsive. I’m allergic to all the commercial dyes and additives, and I’m an accidental vegetarian most of the time, but I make and incredible meatloaf. I do have a few vegan recipes up my sleeve, and I have a gluten free rice flour combo that’s pretty amazing.

My pseudonym comes from Michael Ende’s Momo, also known as The Grey Gentlemen published 1973. The German title fully translates to “Momo, or the strange story of the time-thieves and the child who brought the stolen time back to the people”. If anyone comes across a copy of the 1985 softcover or hardback edition, please contact me about possible trade for jewelry, wardrobe counseling, or homemade cookies of your choice…

I’d love to hear from you! Message me, I don’t usually bite. ♥
